This Voice....
Every voice is unique, and indescribable for what it communicates in terms of energy beyond the words. In 4 days now you can hear it LIVE - the voice of a woman celebrating LIFE with you and me and all. She might sing of hurts and victories she experienced in the past, and she - being Phyllida might sing them because they might be yours at this moment in time. This voice of her might bring you these words
We are living
in the moment
we have let go
of the past -
we are blessing
and releasing
every hurt
that held us fast -
because we are
celebrating Life
but how will it strike you when you hear LIVE this voice that recorded on one of her more recent albums "Call yourself in" sounds like this :
This voice sounds fierce and wild there, celebrating the LIFE in and beyond all experiences with a radical freedom that belongs to a Celtic soul who has seen it all... and yes, let Love in for it all.
How else does this voice sound, the voice of someone who fearfully hid under the table as a child, who became a nun as a teenager, who danced her rage as a young woman, who raised two children, who had a life changing near death experience, and ever since helped countless people to walk with grace towards death and beyond?
What presence might she bring?

In less than four days now you will have heard This Voice LIVE. For a first time in Glasgow. And for the last time as #phyllidasings in concert before she retires this year to do more writing, involving more of the ancient mother tongue of hers:
ERIU
"There are six bardos in the Celtic knowledge. These are the stages we go through towards death. Dying is a part of life, and something each of us will face. It is a big experience, and it can be prepared for. Perhaps it is time to relearn these forgotten insights."
