In the seminar you are invited (with or without previous knowledge) to discover and find your own voice and gain skills to find harmony together while singing in a group. You will discover that this will happen easily.
Come with a sense of delight at the thought of joining with each other.
Seminar Content includes but not limited to:
Vocal and breathing exercises – breathfull powerful voice
Discovery of your own voice and your voice in a group
Mindfulness and awareness in TUNE together
Aural training – experience resonance – background and knowledge
Theory and experience “Body Mind Soul – Bonding in Singing”
Creation of own songs – skills to bring them to life
Feedback to ground and nourish your voice the way you want to be heard
Lots of singing together – experience the healing power of singing in a group through the rich and extensive repertoire Elina has discovered over the years
Depending on the needs of the group individual aspects can be deepened and focused upon
Alongside this you will learn and discover songs for your own benefit or be able to serve at a bedside with others together as Threshold Choir Singers.
Times of farewell are an inescapable part our lives, whether we fear or welcome them. Music, especially singing, is a strong instrument to carry us through times when there are no words to express our emotions. It is a wonderful way to console each other and to help through times of passing and crossing thresholds.

FareWell & Threshold Songs for Health and Healing from the Celtic Tradition and from all over the World
Times of fare-wells are in our lives, whether we fear or welcome them.
Music, especially singing, is a powerful instrument for carrying us through times when there are no words to express our powerful emotions. It is a wonderful way to console each other and to help through times of threshold/passing. Benefits of healing songs and singing together are manifold. Healing Songs are very easy to sing along with as they flow directly in resonance and most have short texts and easy melodies that give space for heavenly harmonies created out of the moment.
You are very welcome just to listen or to join in and enjoy new experiences.
Yes, we have started the prepatory stages of a "Threshold Choir" in Glasgow since Phyllida's last Gutha day in October here. We meet every Sunday night, and have so much to learn ! We are open still for new members over the next months until Imbolc, when Elina, in true spirit and practise of Brigit (the beloved Celtic Triple Holy Spirit, Goddess, Saint) will share with us with her gifts of bringing our and your voices together in harmony with joy and ease.
